On the first Sunday of March 2023, i.e. on the 5^th, UOCAANSW members joined the millions of Australians to take practical action to improve the environment. We donated our valuable Sunday morning and made a real impact at the nation’s largest community-based environmental event.  At Second Ponds Creek, we walked through parks, bushland and by the side of waterways, to pick up rubbish and make the region beautiful. It was great to see the young children of members join the wonderful community event as well. Everyone received a ‘Step Up to Clean Up .. Thank You’ certificate at the end of the event. The good deed ended up with a yummy lunch with chit-chats and good laughs at Ettamogah Pub in Rouse Hill!
