The new committee kicked off their first project – X-mas BBQ and Family Get Together on 8th December 2019 at Rouse Hill Regional Park. It was great to see more than 140 alumni with their families enjoying the festive ambience and the company of each other. The food was mouth watering; included not only traditional Aussie BBQ, but also Sri Lankan kiribath, katta sambol, manioc and many more. Live music gave everyone a boost to sing and dance. The kids were thrilled with Santa’s arrival and gifts. Novel inclusions in the event were the balloon lady who kept the kids entertained throughout the event and the photo booth which made everyone get their own photo souvenir. The committee was thankful to have the generosity of sponsors to make this event a great success.
