UCAANSW was extremely happy to join and participate at the Vesak Day
celebrations at the Lankarama Buddhist Temple, Schofields on Sunday, 7 th of
May, 2023. It was our opportunity to recite two beautiful songs of our choice
at the Bakthi Gee programme. Our singers from the committee and general
membership were dedicated to join in for late evening practices after their
busy days of work. It was our proud moment to sing a most devotional song
‘Ara guwane ruwin didulana’, composed by our own committee member,
Chameera Jayasekara. The other was Silumina Seya by Samitha Mudunkotuwa
which also lifted the vibes of the special day.
