The musical show ‘Madhura Sanhitha’, organized by the University of Colombo Alumni Association of NSW (UCAANSW), was held on 15 June 2019 at Roselea Community Centre.
Over 450 guests enjoyed the delightful songs of Priya Sooriyasena and Athma Liyanage and the musical talents of Indrajith Mirihana and his group. Up and coming young artiste Sanka Dineth entertained the audience with his original songs and music as well as a Hindi song. Local artistes Lanka Priyanganie and Samanali Jayasuriya added variety to the show as well as a dance performance by Sasani Jayasinghe and a drumming performance by Dinesh Perera.The event was compered by Asela Jayanath.
Prof. Raja Bandaranayake graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. The event was a fund raiser for the ongoing UCAANSW scholarship fund to help undergraduates with financial difficulties and also to support other UCAANSW projects. The organisers sincerely thank all guests for their support.
