A team of UCAANSW members joined the City of Canada Bay Council’ Clean Up Australia Day site at Rodd Park, Rodd Point on 3rd March 2019.
The team was greeted by City of Canada Bay Sustainability team coordinator Ju’eta Amir at the Rodd Park Clean-up site and met with the Mayor of Canada Bay Council Angelo Tsirekas and the councillor Julia Little. After the formalities everybody headed through the foreshore and along the beach towards the Bay run, filling up a number of bags with broken glass, packaging plastic and tiny pieces of torn plastic.
