The UCAANSW Committee along with the University of Colombo Alumni community of NSW are very pleased to offer a total of 36 scholarships in the inaugural year. The collective value of all the 36 scholarships committed amounts to 1.755 Million Rupees. The alumni committee and the members have worked tirelessly to raise these funds through community events, volunteer efforts and donations. Therefore, it is very gratifying to receive letters of acknowledgments and telephone confirmation from the scholarship recipients, some of which will be published here. We have removed the personal details to maintain their privacy.
Dear scholarship recipients, We encourage you to put in your best effort in your studies and take every opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills. Further, similar to UCAANSW, take time to give back to the society, perhaps as a volunteer, and develop a stronger sense of duty and responsibility towards fellow citizens and Sri Lanka. We wish to congratulate all of you and wish you all the best in your studies and success in your future goals.
