On Sunday, the 3rd of March 2024, members of UCAANSW joined fellow Australians nationwide in participating in Clean Up Australia Day 2024 to show our commitment to a cleaner environment. We dedicated our Sunday morning to the important community event. Along Greenview Parade in The Ponds, NSW 2769, we walked through Peel Reserve, Douglas Reserve, Little Trolley Park, and part of The Second Ponds Creek collecting litter to beautify our surroundings. It was inspiring to witness the involvement of our members in this second event organized by the 2023/2024 committee. As a token of appreciation, each participant was presented with a ‘Thank You’ certificate upon the event’s conclusion. We wrapped up the day with enjoyable refreshments and socializing at Peel Reserve in The Ponds, alongside members and their families.
